How to keep your brushes pointy and in good health

For my Nurgle Daemons force I was eager to find a similar scheme to the dark mud used on the Death Guard but with a slight twist to account for the Daemon nature. With this in mind, a vivid green toxic flow around dark mud and rocks was just what was needed to satisfy both of the criteria.

The model used in this example is the Great Unclean One which uses a large base, however the techniques discussed can be applied just as easily to smaller bases with you taking a collective view on how much and where to add the toxic water.

As with all basing I recommend working on the base separately to the model as some of the products and processes used can be messy and might be counterproductive to the finish you have chosen on your model.
